He is survived by: his mother Mary Ella, Sr. of Washington; his siblings, Mary Downing (Harry), Terry (Darline) of Washington, Shirley Brown (Willie), Shelia, Anthony Chris of Washington, Pamela Johnson (Francis) of Bamberg, SC, Lear Smart (Fred) of Bamberg, SC and Alice Kirkland of New York; his nieces and nephews, Shari Campbell (Dwayne), Kritafia Smart, Kheretta Smart, Devin (Kaquia) of Washington, Christopher Smart (Trenisia), Anrtonie Smart, Travis Kirkland, Nadia Walker, Taniya of Washington, Calise Smart, Ahmad Lewis and Chylandice Jennings; his cousins, Linda, Brenda, Lillian, Frances, Charlie and Roger; his brother-in-law George Gadson; and also Georgia Sapp. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
