He was predeceased by: his siblings, David Steedly, Jr., Wendell Steedly, Leonard Steedly, Pauline Matthews and Julia Helen Thomas.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Ernestine Carter Steedly; his daughters, Lynne Jeffcoat (Alvin) and Elizabeth Smith (John); his grandson Addison Jeffcoat; his brother Dan Frank Steedly; and his sister-in-law Latrelle Steedly. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
