He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Deacon Elliott Adams, Sr. and Martez Adams; his siblings, Marie Wheeler, Beverly Adams, Joyce O'Conner and Richard Adams, Sr.; his significant other Mary; his children, Elliott Adams, III (Tasha) and Mary LaShaun Carter (Moses, Jr.); his grandchildren, Marquis Carter (Alexis) and Iyana Favor-Adams Smith (Myles); his great grandchild Ryleigh Leona Smith; his siblings, Lady, Viola Williams (Bishop Gehazel), Elder Jerry Adams, Sr., Rosa Richardson and Edith Hamlin; and also, Virginia Hiers, Sammy Hicks, Jr., Louise Milhouse (Timothy, Sr.), Evangelist Carrie Brooks Queen E. (Odell, Sr.), Broughton (Harry) and Deacon Scott Hicks (Ellen).
In lieu of flowers on stands, the family kindly requests green plants due to them not having a burial in a cemetery.
