Doris O'Quinn Crider Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doris O'Quinn Crider of Bamberg, South Carolina, who passed away on January 25, 2025 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband J. W. "Duck" Crider, Sr.; her parents, John Gary O'Quinn and Lillian Fender O'Quinn; and her siblings, Quillie O'Quinn, Vernon O'Quinn, Herbert O'Quinn and Willie Mae Smoak.
She is survived by: her children, Johnny Crider (Debbie) of Bamberg and Anne Crider Bacon (Terry) of Edisto Island; her sister Ena O'Quinn Reed of Walterboro; her grandchildren, Tammie Eubanks Jones (Marshall), Joey Eubanks (Kristen), Ashleigh Crider Wolfe (Justan), Wesley Crider (Griffin) and Kendall Bacon Johns (Allie); and her great grandchildren, Parker, Joseph, Riley, Evan, Elliott, Mattie, Jacob, Holcomb and Banks. She is also survived by the caretaker for family and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Spring Branch Baptist Church (833 Deacon Rd, Bamberg, SC 29003). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorials be directed to the following: Spring Branch Baptist Church, 833 Deacon Road, Bamberg, South Carolina 29003 or to, Edisto Hospice, 301 North Lucas Street, Walterboro, South Carolina 29488.
