Caleb Hartzog Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Caleb Hartzog of Bamberg, South Carolina, who passed away on March 8, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Caleb Hartzog to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Duward Belmont Hartzog and Mildred Jeanette Bushardt Hartzog; and his siblings, Jo Hartzog Scott and D. B. Hartzog, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Jimmie Lee Way Hartzog; his sons, Cal Hartzog (Stephanie), James Hartzog (Glenda), Jerry Hartzog (Doretta), Gregg Hartzog (Dena) and Freddie Hartzog (Lisa); his grandchildren, Christopher Hartzog, James Hartzog, Lacey Brown (TJ), Megan Salvo (Michael), Brittany Stroman (Marty), Ricky Hartzog (Lauren), Calee Hartzog, Brandon Martin, Brittany Martin, Jessica Wise (Benton), Will Medlin (Kayla Jo), Chad Elliott (Sandy) and Summer Johnson (Bill); his great grandchildren, Emalyn Salvo, Kaiden Salvo, Carter Brown, Mason Hartzog, Caleb Brown, Silas Martin, Harrison Wise, Wilkes Medlin, Drew Wise, Liam Hartzog, Landen Johnson, Brookie Oneal and Isabella Johnson; and his siblings-in-law, Annette Delk and J. P. Robinson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ghents Branch Baptist Church (1974 Ghents Branch Rd, Denmark, SC 29042). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
