She was predeceased by: her husband Johnny Black; her son Maynard; and her grandson Johnny Dennis. She is survived by: her children, Dorothea Black Roberts (Donald) of Denmark, SC, Elder Eddie Black (Karen) of Charlotte, NC, Jacqueline Black of Columbia, SC and Randolph Black (Shirley) of Denmark, SC; her grandson Terence Black; and her daughters, Gloria Gordon (Randolph) and Linda Johnson (Willie). She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; seven additional grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Dash's Funeral Home - Bamberg (12409 Heritage Hwy, Bamberg, SC 29003). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Of Our Lord Jesus Christ, Inc. (282 Progressive Wy, Denmark, SC 29042).
