We are sad to announce that on September 4, 2021, at the age of 78, Alice Sandifer of Bamberg, South Carolina, born in Orangeburg, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Edgemon, Sr. and Dorothy R. Johnson Edgemon; her son John Wilton Fort, Jr.; and her brother Robert Shuler. She is survived by: her daughter Lana Sandifer of Bamberg; and her siblings, Marvin Edgemon, Jr. and Dorothy Edgemon. She is also survived by four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
