He is survived by: his children, Roger Gause (Tramaine-Conway), Demeeka Pierce (Thomas Jakes), Kendell Pierce of Aynor, SC and Shanquilla Pierce (Andrew Harness); his siblings, James Truman (Sarah Pierce), Rose Marie Roberts of Aynor, Hazel (Sammy Gee), Nelline Pearl (George Holmes), Melvin Lee (Katherine Pierce), Jessie Lee Glenn (Adam Hout) and Robert Lee Pierce (Edward Hough); his sister-in-law Elizabeth Dixon Pierce of Latta, SC; his aunts, Ida McKiver of Marion, SC, Evangelist Barbara McCrae of Bennettsville, SC. and Evangelist Sarah Simmons of Bennettsville, SC.; and his friends, Liz Crawford of Latta, SC and Ann Smith of Conway, SC.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and made special friends.
