It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernard Thomas Burgess (Aynor, South Carolina), born in Utica, Michigan, who passed away on January 30, 2020, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold James and Anna Catherine Crowe Burgess; his wife Florence Buchheister Burgess; his grandchildren, Henry Farrier, Gerald Andrews and Ronda Andrews; and his children, Frederick, Joseph, Robert Lewis, Paul and Paula Maczko.
He is survived by: his children, Richard Lewis Jr. (Linda) of Loris, Darrel Lewis (Janet) of California, Ryan Lewis of Goldsboro, NC, Catherine Cook (Donald) of Aynor, Bernadette Farrier (Rod) of Aynor and Rachel Hill (James) of Goldsboro, NC; and his siblings, Harold John Burgess of Michigan and Veronica Rose Burgess of Michigan. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren 19 great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren several nieces and nephews and many other family and friends.
