As Willy Gerard departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Willy Gerard may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Willy Gerard leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hendrik Jan Eeltink and Adriana Cornelia Verbeek Eeltink. She is survived by: her husband Gerard Verkaik, Jr.; and her children, James (Teri), Tim (Aileen), Lisa Paolino (Joseph) and Nancy Saucier (Jim). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; and a growing number of great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the J. Henry Stuhr Inc. (1494 Mathis Ferry Rd, Mt Pleasant, SC 29464). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location.
