He is survived by: his children, Vickie Rivers Gibbs and Michael Rivers (Jackie); his grandchildren, Tracey Manigault, Robin Stewart, Brandon Stewart (Kelley) and Brianna Rivers; his great grandchildren, Keaira Manigault and Courtland Malvo; his siblings, Oliver Rivers (Roslyn), Edward Rivers and Emily Nelson (Vernon); his siblings-in-law, Mary Colleton, Carrie Hilliard, Ella Glover (Howard), John Hilliard Jr., Nathaniel Hilliard (Barbara) and Franklin "Ron" Hilliard (Theresa); his nephew David Hamilton; his goddaughter Alice Jefferson; and his close friends, Kim Sparkman (Michael) and Carrie. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
