With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Vanessa A. Hamilton of Awendaw, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 5, 2025 at the age of 58. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her nephew De'Von Shane Hamilton. She is survived by: her parents, Pinckney Hamilton and Lillie Mae Steed Hamilton; her siblings, Sandra Graham and Edrina Hamilton (Rico); her nieces and nephews, Jonathan Hamilton, Nigil Sims (Alisha) and Jonele Graham; her great-nephew KeAndre Hamilton; her great-niece Eden Williams; her aunts and uncles, Henry Steed, Jr., Henrietta Merchant, Theodore Steed, Ben Steed (Irene), Carl Steed (Maria) and Loretta McNeal; her cousins, Bryan McNeal, Jr., Cloie McNeal, Michael McNeal (Sharon) and Laverne McNeal; and her sister Annette Keith Fennick.
Viewing was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:55 AM at the Mt. Nebo AME Church (5600 N Hwy 17, Awendaw, SC 29429). A celebration of life was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
