He is survived by: his wife Rosa Gathers (Thompson); his daughter Angela G. Dunn (Gregory); his granddaughter Aliyah D. Collins (Hunter); and his siblings, Emily Rye, Kenneth Gathers (Margert), Patricia Ann Jaffary (Nasim) and Alexis Gathers. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
