He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy M. -Mitchell of Washington; and his children, Arnold and Kimberly Mitchell. He is survived by: his son Joe Louis Mitchell, Jr. (Angela) of Mt. Pleasant, SC. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
