He is survived by: his children, Annabell Simmons (Henry "Timmy"), Thelma Brown (Frank), Linda Dawson, Deloris Denmark (Thomas), Alberta Nesbitt (Joseph), Herman Singlton Jr. (Cassandra), Anthony Singleton and Tommy Singleton (Paula); and his siblings, Leroy Singleton (Carolyn), Johnny Ellington (Doreatha), Lillie Ann Jones, Louise Jenkins, Mildren Johnson, Ethel Eddie, Margaret Williams and Edna Beatty.
