It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Benjamin Brown Sr. (Awendaw, South Carolina), who passed away on November 22, 2019, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Mattie Brown; his children, Benjamin Brown, Jr., Angela Nails and Jacqueline Brown; and his siblings, Edward Brown, Jr. (Shelby), Caritta Owens and Moszena Barnwell. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and brother and sister-in-laws.
