He was predeceased by: his parent James Lane; and his son Benjamin Anthony Lane. He is survived by: his parent Belle Farmer Lane; his wife Julie Moore Lane; his son Jason M. Lane of Athens, GA; his daughter-in-law Paula Cassell; his grandchildren, Jason M. Lane, II, Ethan Alexander Lane, Oliver Wyatt Lane and Ronni Cassell; and his sisters-in-law, Lisa Miller and Barbara Lane.
