As Janice Kay departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Janice Kay may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Janice Kay leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbur Medley and Inza Vess Medley; her daughters, Vonda Kay Lee Bowden and Rhonda Lee Schrimsher; her grandson Jamie Moody; and her brother Donald Medley.
She is survived by: her husband James C. "Jim" Lee; her daughter Tonya West; and her grandchildren, Wilbur Lee West and Cecil Bradley West. She is also survived by 5 great grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Greenlawn Memorial Gardens (1300 Fernwood Glendale Rd, Spartanburg, SC 29307).
