He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Lee and Pauline Wright Robinson; his wife Wilma Louise Cooper Robinson; his daughter Rita Robinson; his grandson Corey Robinson; his great grandchild Carter Robinson; and his sister Kathleen Painter.
He is survived by: his children, Brenda Ann Murrphy of Greenville, James V. Robinson (Renee) of Spartanburg, Sandra Messick (Arthur Wayne) of Glenn Springs and Peggy Trotter (Roger) of Roebuck; and his sisters, Hazel Lawter of Dayton and Alice Cobb of Blacksburg. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
