He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Player and Lizzie McConnell Player; his wife Janie Player; and his siblings, Dan, Leonard Player, Orene Player, Leila Robinson and Joanne Howard.
He is survived by: his son William Danny Player; his daughter-in-law Glenda Long; his grandson William Evan Player; and his siblings, Charles Player (Sharon) of Salters, Ronald Player (Nancy) of Russellville and Christine Strickland of Summerville. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and great nieces/nephews.
