He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Delores Shivers Joye; his parents, William LeGrande Joye and Olive Elizabeth Buddin Joye; his son Jeff Joye; and his sister Mary Elizabeth Joye.
He is survived by: his children, David Joye of Andrews, Doug Joye (Dena) of Surfside Beach, Andy Joye (Lauren) of Pawleys Island and Donna Murrell (Richard) of Sumter; and his siblings, Jimmy Joye (Libby) of Garden City and JoAnn McCollough of Kingstree. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
