Wayne James Cox Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wayne James Cox (Andrews, South Carolina), who passed away on July 31, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny Lorenza Cox and Mettie Godwin Cox; his wife Harriett; and his siblings, Hattie Cantley, Ralph Cox, Lucile Player, Maggie Cribb, Lorenza Cox, Lola Bell Cox, Renelda "Shorty" Cox and Warren Cox.

He is survived by: his niece Cheryl F. Rogers (Ray); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Allie and Rhett; his godsons, Keith Poe (Venus) and Kelley Poe; and his sisters-in-law, Patsy Cox and Louise Cox. He is also survived by nephews and nieces.

Due to Covid-19, the family asks that everyone please practice social distancing and facemasks are requested.
