She was predeceased by: her parents, William Jesse Ard and Lessie Marie Hayes Ard; her children, Karen Lynn Johnson and Timothy Gregg Johnson; and her siblings, David Raymond Ard, Jesse Naomi Brown, Mettie Geneva Matthews, Lillian Lavonne Ard, Edward Billy Ard, William Joseph Ard, Preston LaRoss Ard and Aggie Jean Dennis.

She is survived by: her son Ed Larue Johnson; and her brothers, Henry Robert Ard (Annie) and Otly Gale Ard (Sheila). She is also survived by ten grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren.
