He was predeceased by: his great-grandparents, Clyde, Shirley Lambert, Keith, Novel Player, Richard and Betty McConnell.

He is survived by: his parents, Richard Hue McConnell III and Mandy Player McConnell; his grandparents, Ron, Barbara Player, Ricky McConnell, Mac and Dollie McCarthy; his aunts and uncles, Minnie Lee "Dew" Lambert (Doug Delaney), Wanda Player (Glenn), Glenda Evans (Jimmy), Betty Powell, Susan Avant, Maureen Akins (John), Alison McCarthy, Ray McConnell, Randy McConnell, Jimbo McConnell and Bobby McConnell; and his pets, Jax, Opie and Pete.
