She was predeceased by: her parents, Louie Christopher Howard and Ellen Agnes Howard; her husband Harlis; her children, Dennis Byrd, Terry Byrd, Henry Mullins and Sheila Burleson; her siblings, Cecil Howard, Barbara Howard, Eloise Taylor and Virginia Ackerman; and her sisters-in-law, Judy Howard and Sherrill Howard.

She is survived by: her children, Patty Lynch of Andrews, Jimmy Byrd of Andrews, Gene Mullins of Georgia and Jack Burleson of Andrews; and her siblings, Earmon Howard of Scranton, Elbert Howard of Jamestown, Roger Howard (Christine) of Georgetown and Linda Feathers (David) of Gray, TN. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.
