With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Queen West of Andrews, South Carolina, born in Charleston, South Carolina, who passed away on August 25, 2021 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lanie Brown and James Gamble; her husband Alexander "Lonza" Davis; her son Timothy Davis; and her siblings, Lynard Turner, Estella Jenkins and Patricia Ann Mitchum.
She is survived by: her son Ronald "Ronnie" Davis; her granddaughter Vertrina McCrea (Nathan) of Kingstree, SC; her sister Essie George of Andrews, SC; her daughter Teresa Davis (Miguel) of Conway, SC; her friends, McKeater Samuel (Edwin) of Andrews, SC, Hattie McKnight of Moncks Corner, SC and Carolina Dosha Mae Greene (Lewis) of Goose Creek, SC; and also Niomi B. White of Trio, SC. She is also survived by four grandchildren, three great grandchildren, her adopted daughter.
