She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Arnold Cook, Sr. and Viva Lee Caddell Cook; and her siblings-in-law, Joe NeSmith and Carol Cook. She is survived by: her husband John "Johnny" David McAlister; her children, Gigi Avant (Jamie), Jamie Jacobs and Chasity Bryant Cooper (Travis); her grandchildren, Dustin Wilson, Tori Avant, Luke Avant, Madison Blakely, Kali Cooper, Savana Cooper and Carson Watson; her siblings, Debbie Cook NeSmith, Robert Cook, Jr. and Cindy Collins (Bill); her pets, Daisey, Sally, Lady, Oreo, Ace, Copper, Finley, Lottie and Farrah; her goat Moonshine; and also, Robbie Soles, Isla Venezia, James Avant and Mills Morris.
