It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martha Ann King Ward (Andrews, South Carolina), who passed away on January 9, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Homer Lavern Ward; her parents, James King and Katie McCall King Cales; her daughter Sheila Ward Cribb; her grandson Dustin Cribb; and her siblings, Tommy King, Elanora King Coker, Jimmy King, Robert King and Andrew Cales.
She is survived by: her son Steven Anthony Ward of Andrews; her grandchildren, Steven Tyler Ward of Andrews and Chloe Ward of Georgetown; and her siblings, Maude Brown (J. W.) of Sumter, James Cales (Hallie) of Manning, Roger Cales (Kathy) of Manning and Randy Cales (Judy) of Sumter. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Gourdines Chapel Christian Fellowship Church (4282 County Line Rd, Andrews, SC 29510). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
