He was predeceased by: his parents, James Anderson and Maggie Cooper Anderson; and his son Nathaniel "Nate" Anderson. He is survived by: his children, Joseph Anderson (Iza) of Panama City, Verlie Shaw (Sylvester) of Raleigh, NC, Jerry Anderson (Sylvia) of Andrews, SC, Glendora Gilliard (Kenneth) of Georgetown, SC, Maggie Anderson, Perlissa Anderson of Andrews, SC, Gregory Anderson of Columbia, SC and Veronica Anderson of Kingstree, SC; his adoptive daughters, Earthalean Mazyck and Sandra McBride; and his siblings, Rev. William Anderson (Wilma Mae) of Rochester, NY, Rev. JJ Anderson (Gloria) of Moncks Coroner, SC, Bishop James Anderson (Caroline) of Rochester, NY, Margaret Reynolds (Robert) of Rochester, NY, Evangelist Eula Lee Franklin of Kingstree, SC and Ceenie Mae Anderson of Andrews, SC. He is also survived by twenty-two grandchildren and thirty nine great grandchildren.
