Joan Morris Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan Morris (Andrews, South Carolina), who passed away on December 12, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Goldie Cooper and Marguerite Elizabeth Knight Cooper; her husband Gordon Kenneth "Buddy" Morris, Sr.; her grandson Jeremy; and her siblings, Barbara Jean Powell, Elizabeth Cooper, Virginia Mae Fogle (Howard), Frances Bryan (Russell), Walter Cooper and Jeanette Ray.

She is survived by: her children, Gordon Kenneth Morris, Jr. (Tressa) and Sheryl "Sherry" Godwin (Donnie); her grandchildren, Jennifer Casselman (Doug), Joni Alford (Kelly), Jessica Davis (Cody) and Ken Morris (Taylor); her great grandchildren, Hunter, Hailey, Macy, Mady, Annalee, Jameson, Marleigh, Kenzie and Liam; and her siblings-in-law, Rev. Murray Powell and Gail M. White. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
