He was predeceased by: his parent Louise Edith Poston; his grandparents, Gary and Katie Poston; and his sisters, Brenda Poston, Debbie Meany and Norma Jean Poston.

He is survived by: his sisters, Geneva Poston, Sylvia Coker, Susie Poston and Karen Thompson (Jimmy Ray); and his family, William, Nancy Wilson, Billie Lynn Gause, Kevin Koss, Percy and Irene Cantey. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
