He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Eleon Blakely and Illa Mae Foxworth Blakely; and his son Derrick Blakely. He is survived by: his children, Mark Blakely (Ann), Lisa Ray (Leon) and Andy Blakely (Lisa); his grandchildren, Leslie Fore (Jerry), Lee Ray, Ashlee Blakely, Austin Blakely, Michala Blakely of John, Jack Langston and Daphne Graham; his great grandchildren, Ashlin, Jaxson, Addi, Liam, Trent, Kierstin and Baizley; his daughter Tina Blakely-Bruce; and his sisters, Jaqueline "Jackie" Walters and Vera B. McDaniel. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
