He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Dougley Bodiford and Ruth Elizabeth Tisdale Bodiford; his brother Leroy Bodiford; and his daughters, Gina Dianne Bodiford and Julie Leigh B. Odum.

He is survived by: his spouse Ellaree Rebecca Gibbs Bodiford; his siblings, Lamar Bodiford (Annette) and Douglas Bodiford (Helen); his son Jack O. Bodiford, Jr.; his grandchildren, Jeremy Odum, Jarid Odum (Kayla) and Alaina Odum; and his great grandchildren, Krissa, Katrina, Heath and Rebecca. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
