He was predeceased by: his parents, William Rhodus Ward, Sr. and Ester Hessie Richardson Ward; his children, Sheila Ward and Dustin Ward; and his siblings, Rhodes Ward, Jr., Leona Copple, Barbara Jean Davis, Ruth Mansfield and Lila Watford.
He is survived by: his wife Martha Ann; his son Anthony Ward; his grandchildren, Tyler and Chloe Ward; and his siblings, Johnny Ward, James Ward and Deborah Lynn Bryant.
