He was predeceased by: his parents, James McDowell and Alice Vonciel Parnell McCrea; his siblings, Adelaide Sypolt, Sinnott McCrea and Archie McCrea; and his siblings-in-law, Bob Sypolt, Mary McCrea, Frances McCrea and Janet McCrea.
He is survived by: his wife Ida Ann Morris McCrea; his daughter Alice Teretha Ann "Teri" Watford (Benjie) of Kingstree; his grandchildren, Crystalyn Michelle Watford Honkonen (Scott) and Ashley Nichole Watford; his siblings, Rounette Rowan (Bob), Henry McCrea (Carol), Rayford McCrea and Sammie McCrea; and his son Craig Stephenson (Robin).
