It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dan Cumbie of Andrews, South Carolina, born in Georgetown, South Carolina, who passed away on February 16, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Thomas Cumbie and Neita Cannon Cumbie; his wife Mary Frances Wilson Cumbie; his daughter-in-law Michele Cumbie; and his siblings, Juanita Woodall, John Cumbie and Oscar Cumbie.
He is survived by: his children, Dan Rhett Cumbie, Jr. of Central and Lisa Ann Howard (Mickey) of Andrews; his grandchildren, Mitchell Cumbie (Martha), Jamie Cumbie, Matthew Cumbie (Paige) and Lance Howard; his great grandchildren, Canaan, John Easton, Ella, Allie and Clay; and his siblings, Annette Glisson (Ronnie) of Andrews and Ralph Franklin Cumbie of Andrews. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
