He was predeceased by: his parents, Carver Ruel Black and Emma Christine Black of Tuscaloosa, AL; and his sister Dorothy Zark Ordean of Crown Pt. He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline P. Black; his children, Carla R. Black (Sandy) of Lexington, SC and Carey R. Black (Kathryn) of Andrews, SC.; his brother Joseph F. Black (Gayle) of Tuscaloosa, AL; his brother-in-law Gerald W. Powell (Libby) of Andrews, SC.; his nephew Jeremy B Powell (Brittany); his niece Jessica Parrish (Trystan); and his close friends, Chelsea Cooper and Maylynn Carter. He is also survived by several dogs and his cat.
