It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Goodwin (Andrews, South Carolina), who passed away on February 10, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband James Goodwin; her son Randy L. Goodwin; and her siblings, Lethen Ray, David Ray of James, Ray, Frank Ray, Bobby Russell Ray, Don Ray, Dan Ray, Adra Fulton, Ruth Forbes, Annie Mae Ray Pugh and Elizabeth Ray Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, James Elwood Goodwin, Rev. Timothy Goodwin (Donna), John Steven "Steve" Goodwin (Robin) and Suzette G. Flowers (Timothy); her grandchildren, Kevin Goodwin (Melissa), Chris Goodwin (Jessica), Josh Goodwin (Lynn), William Flowers (Angela), Amanda Cox (Cliff) and Jessica Goodwin (Benji LeMacks); her great grandchildren, Michael Goodwin (Maddison), Matthew Goodwin, Coleson Goodwin, Maddox Goodwin, Adam Mitchell, Abby Flowers, Corbyn Cox, Lily Cox, Caiden Cox, Chase LeMacks, Chelsey LeMacks, Courtney Driggers (Chris), Jay Jackson, Kyliee Jackson and Levi Jackson; and her great great grandchildren, Micah Goodwin, Henry Moore and Shaelyn Driggers.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM and at 1:00 PM at the Holy Trinity Pentecostal Holiness Church (11407 Gapway Rd, Andrews, SC 29510).
