She was predeceased by: her parents, Mitchell Etheridge, Sr. and Martha Johnson Etheridge; her son Bruce Franklin Canady; and her sister Bartell Long. She is survived by: her daughter Harriet Canaday Mercer (Dave) of Conway; her brother Mitchell Etheridge, Jr. of Timmonsville; her grandchildren, Valerie Mims (Chad) of Murrells Inlet, Travis Mercer of Conway, Lance Mercer (Brittany) of Conway, Taylor Canady (Jordan) of Canton, NC and Tyler Canady of Colorado; and her great grandchild Brayden Mims of Murrells Inlet.
