It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Willie Embler of Anderson, South Carolina, born in Ninety Six, South Carolina, who passed away on September 27, 2022, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd T. McEntyre and Cora Ivester McEntyre; her son-in-law Tim Gassaway; and her brother James McEntyre. She is survived by: her daughters, Connie Drake (Lamar), Jo Faith Gassaway and Dawn Hammond; and her grandchildren, Tara Waters (Greg), John Drake, Lindsey Wilkins (Reid) and Matt Hammond (Brooke). She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
