It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Roof of Anderson, South Carolina, born in Chester, South Carolina, who passed away on August 20, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Franklin Roof and Ada Jane Mabry; and his son Billy Leon Roof. He is survived by: his children, Kathy Darlene Rhodes (Chris), Kenneth Ervin Roof of Anderson, Pamela Roof Fairfax (Keith) of Sharon, SC and Mark Lee Roof; and his siblings, Beatrice Gaston, Betty McGinnis, James Roof, Dewie Roof and Scott Lathrop. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
