He was predeceased by: his mother Geraldine Smith Childress. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Neace Childress; his sons, William Chase Childress (Brie) and Matthew Tyler Childress; his stepsons, Keith Neace (Catherine) and David Neace (Amanda); his grandchildren, Valen Childress, Kingston Childress, Landon, Holden Neace, Lauren Neace, Adleigh and Dahlia Neace; his father W. Harold Childress, Sr. (Martha); and his siblings, James R. Childress (Reba), LuAnne Childress Foster and Richard M. Childress (Dedra). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
