He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter E. Meredith, Sr. and Gertrude Davis Meredith; his son Steven Anthony Meredith; and his siblings, Sybil Snider, Ruby McCollum, Barbara Reese and Leroy Meredith.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Welborn Meredith; his children, Angela Denise Tant, Gregory Scott Meredith (Terri) and Tessa Meredith Fredericks (Tim); and his siblings, Preston Meredith, Sr. (Linda), Edward Meredith (Renee), Shirley Schrotter (Steve) and Linda Gail Meredith. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Sullivan-King Mortuary (3205 N Hwy 81, Anderson, SC 29621). A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Sullivan-King Mortuary Chapel (3205 N Hwy 81, Anderson, SC 29621).
