He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry James Evitt, Sr. and Gerstell Janie Moss Evitt. He is survived by: his wife Linda Dale Davenport Evitt; his children, Tonya Evitt Jackson (Nick) of Piedmont and Walter Dale Evitt; his siblings, Harley Evitt of Piedmont and Christine Evitt Gross of Piedmont; and his granddaughter Olivia Jackson.
