With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Virginia A Brown of Anderson, South Carolina, born in Pickens, South Carolina, who passed away on December 7, 2021 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Greyson Brown; her parents, Marion L. Abercrombie, Sr. and Beulah Winchester Abercrombie; her son-in-law Amos Addis; and her siblings, Christine Hayes, Ressie Simmons, Deborah Anthony, Doris McCombs, Marion Luther Abercrombie, Jr. and Ronnie Abercrombie.
She is survived by: her children, Juda Addis of Anderson and Jimmy; her daughter-in-law Betty Brown of Lowell, NC; her granddaughter Leslie Brown of Gastonia, NC; and her sister Helen Pace of Pickens.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to East Pickens Baptist Church: 2244 Gentry Memorial Highway, Pickens, SC 29671.
