He was predeceased by: his parents, James Patterson and Annie Elizabeth Austin Patterson (Sandra Elizabeth Patterson); and his siblings, Betty Williams, Mary Acker, Della Williams, Luke Patterson, Herman Patterson and Herbert Patterson.
He is survived by: his children, Sharonda Lewis of Atlanta Ga, Audrey Lewis of Anderson, S. C., Sharon Groves of Anderson, S. C., Tracey Mims of Anderson, S. C. and Travis Patterson Jr. of Anderson, S. C.; and his siblings, Josephine Williford of Anderson, S. C., Clyde Patterson (Mins Rachel) of Anderson, S. C. and Charles Patterson of Anderson, S. C.. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
