He is survived by: his mother Ophelia Gentry; his stepchildren, Christy Johnson, Doug Peterson and Glenn Peterson; his siblings, James Gentry of Anderson, Joann Richey of Iva and Kathy Hamby (Mike) of Anderson; his stepgranddaughter Toni Leigh Sloan; and his close friends, Jannie and Ken McGee.

Due to COVID19, a memorial service will be held at a later date.
