He was predeceased by: his parents, George Airline and Vernell Mauldin Airline; and his siblings, Linnie Bell ''Honey'' Ellis, Mae Thelma ''Gail'' Airline, George ''Gent'' Airline, Cornell "Samp" Airline and Charles ''Doll'' Airline.
He is survived by: his former wife Lillian Pickens-Airline of Anderson, SC; his son Eric Airline (Sonja) of Duncan, SC; his grandchildren, Ean Airline and Emmalise Airline of Duncan, SC; and his siblings, Geneva Smith of Pelzer, SC, C. B. and Boy. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
