It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Thomas Berry Cox of Anderson, South Carolina, born in Honea Path, South Carolina, who passed away on June 29, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Julian Preston and Drudie Irwin Cox; and his siblings, Claude, Julian, Pascal (Pac), John Leonard (Dick), Edgar (Ed), Preston Cox (Press), Mary C. Fell, Ruby C. Hilley and Margaret Cox (Mot).
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Vaughn Cox; his daughter Beryl; his son-in-law Alan Barclay; and his sister-in-law Sue Vaughn Dickson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, as well as many great and great, great nieces and nephews.
Due to COVID-19 a private graveside service will be held at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
