She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Allen and Alice Wooten Cooper; and her siblings, Donald, Edgar A., Jr., Robert, Gary Cooper, Peggy Heller and Marian Garrett.
She is survived by: her husband James Michael "Mike" Cape; her children, Christi Cape and Kevin Cape (Kerri); her grandchildren, Carter Cape and Charlotte Cape; and her sister Gatha Peeples.
